2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tbsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
3 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
24 oz. chocolate chips
8 oz. Hershey bar, grated
3 c. chopped nuts

Blend oatmeal to a fine powder in blender and set aside. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chips, grated Hershey bar, and nuts. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake 6 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies but recipe can be halved.
