HOMEMADE POTATO SOUP 
12 med.-lg. potatoes, peeled, cubed
1 med. onion, diced
1 can evaporated milk
1 stick butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 gallon 2% milk

Combine all of the above. Cook over low heat until potatoes are soft. Serve with crackers.

This is a good basic potato soup. Try adding canned whole kernel corn and elbow macaroni sometime. Makes it a little more filling.
