SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
Pastry for one 9 inch pie
1 c. pecan halves
3 eggs
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour

Arrange pecan halves on the bottom of the pie shell. Beat the eggs; add the butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Combine the sugar and flour and mix this with the egg mixture. Pour over the nuts in the pie shell. Let this stand until the nuts rise to the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
