APPLE CRISP 
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. melted butter

FILLING:

1 tbsp. flour
8 to 10 med. apples, sliced thin
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Sift flour, sugar and salt for crust together into a bowl. Stir in oats and melted butter. Mix with fork until crumbly. Press about 3/4 of this mixture into bottom and sides of 9 to 10 inch pie plate. Add filling which has already been mixed together and sprinkle the balance of the crust mixture over the top of the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned.
