PUMPKIN MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Cinnamon-sugar

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and spices. Cut in butter and add raisins and nuts. Combine egg with pumpkin and milk; add to flour mixture. Stir just enough to combine. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full and sprinkle muffins with cinnamon-sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes and serve hot. Recipe may be doubled. Muffins may be frozen.
