FOOLPROOF PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1 3/4 c. vegetable shortening or lard 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp salt 1 egg 1/2 c. water Blend together flour, shortening, sugar and salt. In separate bowl beat vinegar, egg and water together. Mold into a ball. Chill 15 minutes. Dough can be left in freezer 3 days. Will make one 9 inch shell. |
