ITALIAN CHEESECAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 lbs. Ricotta cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. can cherry pie filling

Grease and flour a 9"x13" pan. Mix the cake mix according to directions and pour into the pan. Set aside.

Beat the eggs and the sugar in a large bowl. Add the ricotta cheese. Carefully pour this mixture over the cake batter, not allowing the mixture to touch the sides of the pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. After the cake has cooled completely, top with the cherry pie filling.
