ALMOND CHOCOLATE BARS 
Crust:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
2 tsp. grated orange rind

Filling:

2 eggs
1 cup blanched, slivered almonds
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup brown sugar

Mix above and spread over the top of the crust.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 30-35 minutes.

Cut into 12 bars and wrap in plastic wrap to keep moist.

12 Servings.
