PICKLED MUSHROOMS 
2/3 c. tarragon vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 med. garlic crushed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. water
Dash pepper
Dash Tabasco sauce
1 med. onion
2 (6 oz.) cans mushrooms, drained

Combine first 8 ingredients for marinate. Thinly slice onions and separate into rings. Add to marinate along with mushrooms. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Stir occasionally. Drain before using. Marinate can be used as a salad dressing.
