GOOD BUTTER COOKIES | |
1/2 lb. butter (1 c.), softened 3/4 c. brown sugar 2 1/2 c. flour (Do not substitute butter.) Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add flour and mix well by hand into a ball. Pat dough evenly into a jelly roll pan. Bake in 350 degree oven about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cut while warm into diamond shape from corner to corner in an X, then cut even from there. Cool completely before removing from pan. |
