NOODLE KUGEL | |
1/2 lb. broad egg noodles 4 eggs, separated 1/2 c. butter 1/2 lb. cottage cheese 1/2 pt. sour cream 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs 1. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain well. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 3. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Combine the remaining ingredients except the crumbs, and fold in the egg whites. 4. Transfer to a greased 1 quart casserole dish and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs. 5. Bake 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 4-6. Use this as a side dish in place of potatoes. |
