HOT PEPPER ALMONDS | |
2 tbsp. butter 1 c. almonds or pecans 2 tsp. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. salt 2 or 3 dashes liquid hot pepper seasoning Melt, butter in shallow pan. Spread nuts in one layer and bake in slow oven (300 degrees) for 30 minutes or until nuts just begin to brown. Stir several times during baking being sure not to over cook. Mix soy sauce salt and liquid pepper seasoning into nuts turning and stirring so seasoning will be evenly mixed in. Spread on double thickness of paper towel to cool then pack in jars with tight fitting lids. |
