SAUCY CRANBERRY CHICKEN 
4 whole broiler-fryer chicken breasts, halved, skinned and boned
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. crackermeal
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. corn oil
1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice

In pie plate mix together flour, crackermeal, salt, pepper and paprika; coat chicken. Heat oil in fry pan over medium heat. Add chicken and brown on all sides. Place chicken in single layer in shallow baking pan. In saucepan mix together cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until cranberry sauce is melted and mixture is smooth. Spoon over chicken. Bake in 350 degree oven, uncovered, about 45 minutes or until fork can be inserted smoothly. Makes 8 servings.
