POTATO CHEESE SOUP 
1/2 c. sliced green onions
1/2 c. sliced celery
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. potatoes, cut in sm. chunks
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. diced ham

Cook onion and celery in butter until tender. Add potatoes and chicken broth; bring to a boil. Then reduce heat, cover and cook until tender.

Combine 1/3 cup of milk and flour, add to mixture with remaining milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add cheese and ham, cook until cheese is melted. Makes 8 servings.
