SPICED CRANBERRY CUSTARD | |
4 eggs 1 1/2 cups milk 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger 1 (16 oz) can strained cranberry sauce Beat eggs, add milk and then spices. Continuing to beat, add cranberry sauce and beat until completely broken up. Place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and bake in 250°F oven for about 90 minutes. Servings: 6 Nutrition (per serving): 222 calories, 4.8g total fat, 1.9g saturated fat, less than 1g polyunsaturated fat, 165.9mg potassium, 39.9g carbohydrates, 38.5g sugar, 1.5g fiber, 6.5g protein, 145.9mg cholesterol, 98.6mg sodium 102.1mg calcium, 319.3IU Vitamin A, 2mg Vitamin C, 37.9IU Vitamin D, less than 1mg iron. |
