FRIKADELLER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground pork
1 egg
2 tsp. bread crumbs
1 tsp. chopped onions
3/4 c. milk
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
3 onions, thinly sliced
1 green pepper, cut in strips
16 oz. whole peeled tomatoes
8 oz. bacon
1/2 c. heavy cream

Mix meat, chopped onion, crumbs, milk and salt and pepper to taste. Shape into small balls. Fry until lightly browned. Place in casserole. Heat cream and pour over meat. Brown onion, green pepper and mushrooms in butter; add tomatoes with juice. Spoon over casserole. Top with bacon slices and place in 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serve with crusty bread and salad.
