MUSHROOM STUFFED BROILERS 
2 sm. broilers, or 4 chicken breasts with wings
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. minced onion
1/4 c. butter
2 chicken livers
2 c. Ritz crackers, crushed
1/4 c. dry vermouth
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. onion powder
1 (4 oz.) can of sliced mushrooms

Prepare broilers, salt and pepper, onion powder. Brush cut side up with butter. Broil about 10 minutes. Turn. Repeat above and broil 15 minutes or until done. In skillet saute onions and chicken livers. Mash cooked livers right in the skillet.

Add crushed crackers, mushrooms and black pepper. Moisten with vermouth. Mix well. Add more if necessary. Do not make too soft. Turn broiler cavity side up. Stuff each cavity. Return to broiler for a few minutes just to heat through and get lightly browned. Serves 4.
