CARAMEL APPLES 
6 med. apples
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. honey
1 c. light cream
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Chopped nuts

Stick wooden skewers in stem ends of apples. Combine sugar, honey, cream, and butter. Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cook to very hard stage (256-260 degrees) without stirring.

Remove from heat; add vanilla. Dip apples in syrup, working fast. Roll in coarsely-chopped nuts meats. Place on well-greased cookie sheet to cool.
