1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 (1 lb.) round sourdough bread, halved horizontally
Butter
2 tbsp. finely chopped basil (2 tsp. dried)

Preheat broiler. Mix mayonnaise, cheese and garlic in a bowl. Arrange bread on cookie sheet. Butter, then broil until golden brown. Spread mixture over bread. Broil again until golden.
