FRIED GREEN PEPPERS 
3 tbsp. oil
1 c. finely chopped onion
4 green peppers, cut into 1/2-inch thick rings
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 minced clove garlic

In a frying pan cook onions and garlic in oil for 5 minutes. Add green peppers and seasonings. Cook slowly for 10 minutes until tender. Serves 6.
