FIG ICE CREAM 
1 c. milk
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. dried figs
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/8 tsp. vanilla
Generous pinch nutmeg
Generous pinch ginger

Small dice figs and soak in water overnight. Drain excess water from figs and puree with all other ingredients. Put in 1 pint Donvier ice cream maker. Freeze in Donvier.
