2 c. prepared fresh fruit (about 1 qt. fully ripe berries)
4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice (1 lemon)
1 pkg. sure jell
Lightly crush ripe berries (to equal 2 cups) into large pan. Add sugar to berries and mix. Let stand for 10 minutes. Follow directions on sure-jell package for preparing sure-jell. When it has cooked for the allotted time, pour into berries and sugar. Stir for 3 minutes. Pour into prepared containers. Cover at once with tight lids. Allow to sit at room temperature for 24 hours. Then freeze for later use. If used within 3 weeks, it can be stored in refrigerator.
