CRUNCHY BEEF-NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms 3/4 c. milk 1/2 c. sliced pitted ripe olives 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 5 oz. egg noodles, cooked & drained 1 c. shredded cheese 1 c. chow mein noodles 1/2 c. salted cashews, broken Cook meat and onion (stirring) until beef is browned. Stir in soup, mushrooms (with liquid), milk, olives, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and noodles. Pour into 2 quart casserole; sprinkle with cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Uncover, top with chow mein noodles and nuts. Bake, uncovered 10 minutes longer. |
