CARROT BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. finely grated carrots
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

In saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar and stir until well blended. Remove, and add remaining ingredients except nuts. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle nuts over. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
