BAKED PEACH PUDDING 
2 c. peaches
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour

Combine sugar and butter. Add other ingredients alternately with milk. Place peaches in 8x8x2 pan. Pour cake mixture over peaches.

TOPPING:

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt

Sift this over batter. Pour 1 cup boiling water over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Serve warm.
