FRESH CHERRY PIE | |
1 1/4 c. sugar 2 1/2 tbsp. flour 1 recipe plain pastry 1 qt. tart red cherries 1/4 tsp. salt Wash and pit cherries. Mix sugar, salt and cherries together. Line pan with pastry, add cherry mix and cover with top crust. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees, bake for 25 minutes longer. |
