FREEZER SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1 carrot; shredded
1 bell pepper; chopped
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed

Pour mixture over cabbage and let stand for 2 hours (more or less). Pour off the liquid into pan and boil 1 minute, cool. Pour over cabbage. Add carrots and peppers for the last step.
