MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3-6 qt. popped corn (personal preference)

Microwave sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt until it boils 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir in soda. Have popped corn already in large grocery bag. Pour foaming candy over corn in sack. Close sack and shake HARD. Put closed sack in microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake hard again and microwave 1 1/2 minutes. May need to do it a third time. Pour out in pan to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
