SWEET TOMATO RELISH 
Mix:

2 qts. chopped green tomatoes
2 chopped green sweet peppers
2 c. chopped onion
1 pt. vinegar
1/4 c. salt
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. mixed pickling spices (in bag)

Bring to boiling point and cook slowly 30 minutes; stirring occasionally. Remove the spice bag. Pack in hot sterilized jars and seal. (Makes 4 pints).
