UNBAKED CARAMEL COOKIES 
2 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. instant butterscotch pudding
3 1/2 c. rolled oats

In a large saucepan combine sugar, butter, and milk. Bring to a rolling boil stirring frequently. Remove from heat and add the pudding and rolled oats. Mix thoroughly; cool 15 minutes and drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper.
