UNBAKED CARAMEL COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter

In a large saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter. Bring mixture to rolling boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and add one small box of butterscotch instant pudding and 3 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats. Mix together thoroughly. Cool 15 minutes and drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Makes 5 dozen.
