BUTTERMILK POUND CAKE 
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 drops yellow food coloring

Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl. Add shortening, buttermilk, flavorings, and color. Beat 2 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each egg. Pour into greased tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
