SAND BAKELESER (SAND TARTS) SWEDISH | |
1/2 lb. butter 1/2 c. sugar 3 egg yolks 2 tbsp. cream 1/4 tsp. baking powder 2 1/2 c. flour Vanilla or a little almond extract Cream butter and sugar. Add yolks and mix well. Add cream and flour with baking powder. Add extract. press down into flouted tart forms and bake a delicate brown in oven, about 375 degrees. Cool before recovering from tins. Invert and tap tins gently. Special tins may be bought at any hardware store. |
