SUGARED NUTS 
2 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 egg white, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. allspice

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine the nuts and the egg white in a small bowl and set aside. In another bowl, mix together the sugar and spices. Combine ingredients from both bowls and make sure all the nuts are covered with the sugar mixture.

Spread on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking oil spray and bake for 25 minutes. Ovens may vary and nuts may be finished in 20 minutes. Do not scorch.

Remove from oven. Mixture will be soft and run together, but will start to harden quickly. Remove immediately from baking sheet onto waxed paper or put in a large bowl or container. The nuts will break apart easily with a spoon.
