DOWN SOUTH BARBECUE 
2 onions, sliced
4 to 5 lbs. fresh ham or pork
5 or 6 whole cloves
2 c. water
16 oz. barbecue sauce
1 lg. onion (chopped)

Put 1 onion, sliced, in bottom of crock pot. Add meat, water and cloves. Top with remainder of SLICED onion. Cover and cook overnight, 8 to 10 hours on low.
