BROCCOLI SALAD 
2 bunches fresh broccoli, heads only
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. purple (red) onion, chopped
12 slices bacon (crisp)

DRESSING:

1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

Mix the ingredients for the dressing and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Mix first 4 ingredients for salad and just before serving pour the dressing over the salad and crumble fried bacon on top.
