PECAN CREAM CANDY 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. cream (can)
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. pecans

Mix all ingredients together in pan. When they come to a rolling boil, cook 3 minutes. Take from fire. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 1/2 cups pecans. Beat 3 to 4 minutes. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Very good.
