LAYER SALAD 
1 head lettuce, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 pkg. frozen peas
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sour cream
1 pkg. Ranch Style dressing mix
3 oz. Cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon, fried

Put in pan, in layers, in order given. Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream and Ranch dressing mix. Put it on as a layer. Crumble bacon up and sprinkle over the top. Keeps 3 days in refrigerator. Serves 12.
