FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 c. butter, melted
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. cream sherry
6 slices pineapple
1 c. cherries
2 c. chopped dates
1 (15 oz.) raisins
7 c. chopped nuts

Combine butter and sugar; mixing well. Add eggs and beat well. Combine dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture alternately with milk. Mixing well after each addition. Stir in sherry, if desired. Stir fruit and nuts into dough; mix well. Drop dough by heaping teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes about 16 dozen.
