FRESH PEACH ICE CREAM 
4 lbs. ripe peaches
1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar

Pare and slice peaches; stir in sugar and salt. Refrigerate until sugar is dissolved. Combine remaining ingredients and freeze partially (in ice cream freezer) until mushy. Then remove dasher and add peaches. Continue freezing until firm.
