CRANBERRY REFRIGERATOR CAKE 
1/2 pt. heavy cream
2 c. fresh cranberries, chopped fine
2 bananas, mashed
2/3 c. granulated sugar
2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1/2 c. butter
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together cranberries, bananas, and granulated sugar. Set aside.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup crumbs in 8 x 8-inch pan. Cream butter and confectioners' sugar together. Add egg and beat well. Spread mixture over crumbs.

Top with cranberry and banana mixture. Sprinkle with nuts.

Spread whipped cream over top. Cover with remaining crumbs. CHILL AT LEAST 4 HOURS.
