DUTCH APPLE BREAD | |
1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. chopped apples 2 c. flour 1 1/2 tbsp. milk 1/2 c. nutmeats 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. orange extract 1 tsp. vanilla TOPPING: 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, beat. Add chopped apples, flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in milk, extracts and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan. Add topping and bake 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees. |
