BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
CAKE RECIPE:

3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa

Sift dry ingredients into large mixing bowl. Add 2 cups sugar and mix well. Add (beat after each addition) :

2 c. water
2/3 c. oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla

Line cupcake pans and fill half full.

FILLING RECIPE:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
Pinch of salt

Beat ingredients in small bowl. Add 12-ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips. Using teaspoon drop filling into cupcake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Makes 30-36. Great for groups and they're easy to pack because no frosting!
