PEANUT BUTTER SQUARES 
1 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. Special K or Corn Flakes

Melt peanut butter, sugar and syrup over low heat. Add cereals. Pour in 9 x 13 inch pan while warm. Let cool and refrigerate.

MIDDLE LAYER:

1/4 c. softened butter
2 to 3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. vanilla instant pudding
2 c. powdered sugar

Mix and place over bottom layer.

TOP LAYER:

1/4 c. butter
4 sq. or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Melt over low heat. Pour over top. Refrigerate. Before cutting, let stand at room temperature 10 to 15 minutes.
