BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE 
1 pkg. (8 oz.) elbow macaroni
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Cook macaroni as package directs; drain. Meanwhile, melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to boil, stirring. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese and the macaroni. Pour into casserole. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until cheese is golden brown.
