PRALINE CRUNCH CHEESE CAKE | |
CRUST: 1 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans 1/2 c. light brown sugar 6 tbsp. melted butter FILLING: 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar 3 eggs 2 tbsp. flour 2 tsp. vanilla 4 tbsp. praline-flavored liqueur 1 c. chopped praline crunch PRALINE CRUNCH: 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. chopped pecans To make Praline Crunch: In heavy skillet, combine sugar and butter, cook over medium heat until sugar is melted and turns golden, about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add pecans. Stir until pecans are lightly toasted and well coated with sugar mixture, about 1 minute. Quickly spread mixture over foil. cover and lightly butter cookie sheet. Cool completely, and break into pieces. |
