ELVIS'S WHIPPING CREAM POUND
CAKE
 
3 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter, softened
7 eggs, room temp.
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. cake flour sifted twice
1 c. whipping cream

Butter and flour a 10 inch tube pan. Thoroughly cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Mix in half the flour, then the whipping cream. Add the remaining flour and vanilla. Pour batter in pan, set in cold oven, turn heat to 350 degrees. Bake one hour to 70 minutes.
