SHREDDED POTATOES AU GRATIN | |
8 med. baking potatoes (3 1/2 lbs.) 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp cheese 2 c. whipping cream (16 oz.) 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. bread crumbs 1 tbsp. butter, melted Place potatoes in boiling water; reduce to simmer for 10 minutes. Drain, cool and peel and shred with grater. Alternate potato and cheese in greased baking dish. Pour cream over potatoes; sprinkle bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Yum! |
