1 med. apple 1 pkg. (10 count) refrigerated biscuits 2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. butter Remove and discard core from apple. Peel and chop apple. Separate biscuits. On a lightly floured surface, pat or roll each into a 4" circle. Place about 1 tablespoon of chopped apple on each biscuit. Stir together the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apple. Dot each with some of the butter. Shape into half moons or bundles. For half moons, moisten edge of biscuits and fold in half over filling. Press down with your fingers or a fork to seal. Place about 2" apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush with the melted butter. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden. Remove to wire rack. Serve warm. Makes 10 servings. |
