HERITAGE DAY APPLE PIE 
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg
Squirt of lemon juice
Prebaked 9" pie shell
Dash of cinnamon
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sliced & peeled tart baking apples

TOPPING:

3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. brown sugar

Mix together sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add sour cream, egg, vanilla and lemon juice. Fold apples into mixture. Pour into 9" prebaked pie shell. Combine nuts and brown sugar topping. Top pie with mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 65 minutes until golden brown.
